About Flexzo Teach
Flexzo Teach is a recruitment, safeguarding and compliance platform that enables educational settings to book education professionals directly, without the need for an agency, managed service provider or other third-party intermediaries.
Educational settings use the platform for workforce cover, long-term placements and permanent recruitment. We are building local talent pools so more settings can switch on direct bookings in Bedfordshire. To expand coverage where you live, we are inviting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to pre-register. Getting started takes a CV upload and a short profile setup.
When you join, it helps us show local educational settings that they can meet cover needs through a direct model, with transparency and direct communication with you.
What you can expect
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) on Flexzo Teach, you can:
- Access flexible work across local educational settings (short-term cover, long-term placements and permanent opportunities)
- Receive direct booking requests and messages from settings through the platform
- Set your availability and preferred working patterns
- Set your hourly or day rate with full transparency
- Be visible to settings building internal staff banks and collaborative staff banks, meaning you may also be requested for interview as schools and trusts expand their local banks
- Access opportunities supporting learners to engage with learning and routines, in line with setting guidance and agreed plans
Typical responsibilities (varies by setting)
Depending on the education provision, you may support with:
- Supporting learners to access learning activities in the classroom, in small groups or 1:1 as agreed
- Supporting inclusive practice, including implementing reasonable adjustments and agreed strategies where required
- Supporting learners to engage with routines, transitions, and expectations in line with setting policy
- Working under the direction of teaching staff and following support plans where provided
- Recording relevant observations where required and sharing these with appropriate staff
- Following safeguarding and compliance processes and escalating concerns in line with setting policy
Requirements
- Experience working as an LSA in an educational setting, or strong relevant transferable experience supporting learners in a structured setting
- Right to work in the UK
- DBS certificate (or willingness to complete one if required)
- Confidence supporting learners with a range of needs in line with setting expectations and policies
- Strong communication and professional conduct within education settings

You set your own hourly or day rate within Flexzo Teach. If helpful, our team can share general guidance on typical rates by role, experience and location. Educational settings can view your rates, availability and experience and decide whether to contact, book or invite you to interview.
