Sedgwick Resource Solutions is seeking experienced claims handlers who either already work with subsidence claims or have a background in commercial or domestic property claims and are ready to specialise in this area.
Joining our award‑winning subsidence department — recognised for its scale, technical expertise, and innovative approach — you will manage a varied and meaningful caseload, supporting homeowners and businesses through the complexities of subsidence‑related insurance claims.
This is a home‑based role, with occasional office visits required throughout the year.
Your New Role
In this position, you will:
- Manage your own portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims from first notification through to settlement, working within agreed service levels.
- Use your delegated authority to make clear, informed decisions on the progress and outcome of each claim.
- Coordinate investigations, communicate with key stakeholders, and ensure all aspects of the claim progress smoothly.
- Apply your technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills to guide claims towards fair, well‑supported outcomes.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, offering straightforward guidance throughout the process.
- Review surveyor and audit reports to validate findings and shape the claim strategy.
- Oversee third‑party suppliers, ensuring their work contributes to accurate diagnosis and efficient resolution.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records within our claims management system.

- Has solid end‑to‑end claims handling experience in property or subsidence.
