We are working with a highly reputable Health Insurance provider, who are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team in Taunton. As a key member of the compliance function, this role strikes a perfect balance between strategic advisory and hands-on monitoring, offering an opportunity to get involved with the full suite of compliance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams, providing pragmatic guidance on FCA regulations and internal policies.
- Monitoring: Execute the compliance monitoring plan, identifying risks and conducting deep-dive thematic reviews.
- Regulatory Change: Help interpret new regulatory papers and assess their impact on health insurance products.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a generalist compliance role within the insurance space, translating complex regulations into plain English and build strong relationships across the business.
- A solid understanding of the FCA handbook (specifically ICOBS, PROD, or PRIN).
- Ability to work from the Company's Taunton office 3 days a week.
