Working within a top‑tier practice, you will support clients on cutting‑edge developments involving renewable energy, large‑scale real estate, social and transport infrastructure, industrial processes, and emerging technologies. The team operates across diverse jurisdictions, offering exposure to some of the most innovative and high‑profile projects in the market.

    Key Areas of Work:

You will gain exposure to a broad range of construction‑related matters across sectors such as:

    • Energy: Including offshore wind, solar, green hydrogen, nuclear, sustainable aviation fuel, energy‑from‑waste projects, and other major energy transition initiatives.
    • Real Estate & New Communities: Urban regeneration, mixed‑use schemes, iconic assets, data centres, film studios, hotels, residential and commercial developments.
    • Social & Transport Infrastructure: Hospitals, defence, utilities, major rail and light rail projects, bridges, tunnels, and high‑profile public infrastructure.
    • Industrial Processes & Natural Resources: Mining, refineries, EV battery supply chain facilities, LNG liquefaction, and large‑scale industrial facilities.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Construction Associate, you will:

    • Draft, review and negotiate construction and ancillary documentation.
    • Advise sponsors, developers, funders, investors and contractors on major international projects.
    • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across various practice groups and offices.
    • Manage matters with a focus on organisation, quality, and client service.
    • Contribute to knowledge initiatives, training, and thought leadership.
    • Support project management processes and utilise modern legal delivery tools and resources.

    Essential criteria:

    • Qualified lawyer with experience from a reputable firm (UK or international common‑law jurisdiction).
    • Junior to mid‑level experience in non‑contentious construction law, ideally on major international or complex projects.
    • Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Commercial awareness and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Interest in developing client relationships and contributing to market‑leading work.

    Training & Development

You will benefit from a comprehensive professional development programme, including:

    • Formal legal and technical training.
    • Informal mentoring and on‑the‑job learning.
    • Access to structured career progression opportunities.
    • A supportive and collaborative environment recognised for excellence.

    Working Model & Benefits:

    • This role offers a balanced hybrid‑working approach, with the expectation of spending at least 50% of your time in the office.
    • The firm provides a competitive salary, a strong bonus structure, and a comprehensive range of financial, wellbeing, lifestyle and family‑friendly benefits.
