Private Client Solicitor - up to £100,000 salary
An established Lancashire law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced and technically strong Private Client Solicitor to join its expanding team. The firm advises high‑net‑worth individuals, business owners and SMEs on a wide range of private client matters including Wills, LPAs, estate administration and complex tax/estate planning.
As part of the continued strategic growth of the department, the firm is looking to recruit a Senior Associate or Partner who can contribute to the direction of the team while managing a high‑quality caseload.
You will manage a varied and interesting caseload comprising:
- Taxable estates and complex probate matters
- Tax and estate planning for HNW individuals
- Drafting Wills and creating lifetime trusts
- LPAs and associated private client work
- Providing high‑level technical guidance within the team
This is a key appointment with scope to influence the ongoing development and strategy of the Private Client department.
The Candidate
- Qualified Private Client Solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE
- STEP qualified or working towards the qualification (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong technical expertise with a track record of handling complex matters
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
- Commercially astute, ambitious and motivated
- Background gained in a reputable boutique, regional or national firm
