Corporate Receptionist – Front of House
The Role
- Provide a professional and welcoming Front of House service, greeting visitors and ensuring they feel comfortable.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience for everyone in the office for both staff and visitors.
- Maintain consistently high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and notify the appropriate team members of their arrival.
- Handle facilities related queries from colleagues, contractors, and guests.
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with building reception and security teams.
- Keep kitchens, lounges, and communal areas tidy, well‑stocked, and presentable.
- Ensure meeting rooms are cleared and reset after use.
- Check office equipment (printers, AV, kitchen appliances) and report faults when needed.
- Manage admin tasks such as ordering stationery, kitchen supplies, business lunches, and raising purchase orders.
- Report maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post and arrange couriers.
- Set up building access passes for new starters and deactivate leaver passes.
- Support the Executive Assistant with ad‑hoc tasks as required.
Previous experience to include :
- Previous Front of House experience in a busy corporate office environment.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- Confident using Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong customer service background.
- First Aid trained (or willing to train).
