University Placement Opportunity: AI Project Assistant at TCL Global

Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and tech‑curious University Student to join our AI development project. This role will give you hands-on experience working with AI workflows, data pipelines, and real‑world system development.
You will work closely with our internal development team to experiment with the AI Bot, analyse workflows, handle data management, and contribute ideas to improve system performance and user experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing study in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Experiment with and test the AI Bot Agent to evaluate performance, accuracy, and usability.
- Review and optimise the AI workflow.
- Assist in data collection, data structuring, and data cleaning for training the AI Bot Agent.
- Coordinate with the internal development and product teams to provide feedback and suggest improvements.
- Document testing results, system behaviour, and workflow changes.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or enhancement opportunities in the AI bot.
- Support in building prompt libraries, conversation flows, and knowledge‑base content.
- Participate in user‑acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and updates on project progress.
- Conduct research on emerging AI tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Perform other relevant tasks supporting the advancement of the AI project.
Skills & Requirements
Essential
- Currently enrolled in a university degree programme (placement year) with a background in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and automation technologies.
- Good understanding of data handling and workflow analysis.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts.
Desirable
- Familiarity with data management or data cleaning.
- Understanding of automation systems, or CRM processes.
- Previous experience working on a technical or software-related project.
