    Field Sales / Sales Development Executive

    About the Opportunity

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Executive to join a growing business within the materials handling and warehouse equipment sector.


    This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, develop commercial skills, and build a long-term career in B2B field sales. You’ll be supported with training, exposure to customers, and the chance to take real ownership of your territory.


    The Role

    This is an entry-level to early-career field sales position focused on new business development and relationship building across Northern Ireland.

    You will work directly with customers to understand their operations, identify opportunities, and introduce solutions including forklift trucks, warehouse equipment, and materials handling solutions.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Northern Ireland
    • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
    • Proactively generate leads through prospecting and networking
    • Support customer visits and account development activity
    • Promote a range of materials handling and warehouse solutions
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
    • Represent the business professionally in the field


    About You

    We’re looking for someone with drive, curiosity, and ambition, who wants to build a career rather than just take a job.


    Essential:

    • Some experience in B2B sales or a strong desire to move into field sales
    • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
    • Confident communicator with good written and spoken English
    • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Right to work in the UK


    Desirable (not essential):

    • Exposure to plant, machinery, materials handling, or technical products
