    Quantity Surveying Officer - Aberdeen


    Contract: 9 months

    Rate: £178 per day

    Location: Aberdeen (site / office based as required)

    Positions Available: 2


    We are currently recruiting two Quantity Surveying Officers to support the delivery of construction and property projects within a large public‑sector environment. These roles will focus on cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a varied project portfolio.


    The Role

    Working as part of a multi‑disciplinary project team, you will provide professional quantity surveying support from pre‑contract through to post‑contract stages. The role requires strong cost control, procurement knowledge, and the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts
    • Monitoring project spend and reporting against approved budgets
    • Supporting tender and procurement processes in line with public procurement regulations
    • Preparing Bills of Quantities, schedules of rates, and contract documentation
    • Assessing and valuing contractor applications and variations
    • Providing post‑contract quantity surveying services
    • Producing reports and cost information for senior stakeholders
    • Working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
    • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and organisational procedures
