Quantity Surveying Officer - Aberdeen

We are currently recruiting two Quantity Surveying Officers to support the delivery of construction and property projects within a large public‑sector environment. These roles will focus on cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a varied project portfolio.
The Role
Working as part of a multi‑disciplinary project team, you will provide professional quantity surveying support from pre‑contract through to post‑contract stages. The role requires strong cost control, procurement knowledge, and the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts
- Monitoring project spend and reporting against approved budgets
- Supporting tender and procurement processes in line with public procurement regulations
- Preparing Bills of Quantities, schedules of rates, and contract documentation
- Assessing and valuing contractor applications and variations
- Providing post‑contract quantity surveying services
- Producing reports and cost information for senior stakeholders
- Working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and organisational procedures
