Ladies Knitwear Designer – Overview
We are partnering with a highly successful fashion supplier who is seeking to recruit a Knitwear Designer to join their growing team.
Working closely with the wider knitwear department, the Knitwear Designer will be responsible for designing and developing commercial, trend-led knitwear collections across both Ladieswear and Menswear, ensuring ranges meet customer expectations and market demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and contribute to customer meetings
- Regularly take part in inspiration trips and competitor shopping
- Liaise closely with overseas factories, including regular visits to the Far East, and manage the sending of CADs and technical packs
- Lead design meetings and confidently present concepts and collections
- Design and develop commercial, on-trend knitwear ranges
Additional Information
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a knitwear-focused design role and demonstrate a strong work ethic, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment is essential.
