ole Purpose
The CHP Dedicated Merlin Project Lead is responsible for managing and optimising the Merlin CAFM system in support of Mitie's CHP contract. The role ensures system accuracy, effective process delivery, and high-quality reporting to support operational performance, compliance, and client requirements.
This is a system-focused, process-driven role supporting engineering delivery through strong data management and application oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the dedicated lead for Merlin CAFM on the CHP contract
- Manage day-to-day system administration and application use
- Ensure accurate asset data, periodic maintenance schedules, and work order processes
- Maintain data integrity and drive consistent system usage across teams
- Support operational teams with system queries and troubleshooting
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to support KPIs, SLAs, and compliance
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Support audits and assurance activities through accurate system records
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align system processes with contract requirements
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong IT literacy with confidence using multiple systems and applications
- Experience in application management or system administration
- Proven data management experience with high attention to detail
- Process-driven mindset with ability to follow and improve structured workflows
- Experience producing reports and interpreting system data
- Good communication skills and ability to support operational users
Desirable
- Experience using Merlin CAFM or similar FM systems
- Exposure to engineering, hard services, or energy-related contracts
- Understanding of planned maintenance and compliance processes
