What you’ll be doing in the role:
• Delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
• Planning and preparing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Differentiating work to support students of varying abilities.
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Supporting students in developing confidence and resilience in Maths.
Essential Qualifications:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across algebra, geometry, statistics and number.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
