What you’ll be doing in the role:
• Delivering high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Planning, preparing and marking in line with the national curriculum.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on student progress.
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Supporting pupils of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
Essential Qualifications:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
