Health & Safety Officer, Corby, £45,000 - £50,000
A thriving manufacturing business in Corby is looking for a proactive and dedicated Health & Safety Officer to support the Head of Health & Safety at their busy production site.
The Role – Health & Safety Officer
As a key member of the H&S team, you will:
Support the Head of Health & Safety in driving and embedding a strong safety culture across the factory.
Partner closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify, resolve, and prevent safety concerns.
Lead and assist with investigations into incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
Recommend and track corrective actions, ensuring timely and effective completion.
Conduct site audits and inspections, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this Health & Safety role, you will have:
NEBOSH Certificate (minimum) – essential.
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (food production experience highly desirable).
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
A proactive, hands-on approach and genuine passion for workplace safety and employee wellbeing.
This role is commutable from Kettering, Northampton, Stamford, Market Harborough, Leicester, Peterborough, Rushden, Raunds and surrounding areas.
