We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Surveyor to join a Social Housing provider based in Ardwick, Manchester. This Repairs Surveyor role will focus primarily on pre inspections and post inspections of responsive repairs, ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. If you are a confident Repairs Surveyor with strong inspection experience, this is an excellent contract opportunity.

The role
As a Repairs Surveyor, you will carry out pre and post inspections across housing stock, ensuring works are completed to the required standard. The Repairs Surveyor will assess repair requirements, raise works where needed, and sign off completed jobs in line with policy and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities for the Repairs Surveyor role
• Conduct pre inspections of reported repairs
• Carry out post inspections to check quality of completed works
• Identify defects and raise additional works where required
• Liaise with contractors and internal repairs teams
• Ensure works meet health and safety and compliance standards
• Provide a strong customer focused approach when attending properties
About you
• Experience working as a Repairs Surveyor within Social Housing
• Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance
• Confident carrying out pre and post inspections
• Good communication skills when dealing with tenants and contractors
• Relevant surveying or construction background desirable
