    Raise Tuition- Specialising in outreach tuition during the day in a variety of locations. 1to1.


    Role Description

    This is a flexible role for an Outreach Tutor located in Oldham and the surrounding areas. Hours are typically 5-35 hours per week. The Outreach Tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored educational sessions for students, providing one-to-one or small-group support across various subjects, and helping students close learning gaps. This role involves working closely with schools, families, and other educators to develop and implement effective learning strategies. Maintaining progress records and reporting on student improvements are key tasks of this position.


    Qualifications

    • Teaching, tutoring, or educational experience with an ability to support diverse learning needs
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and educators
    • Organisational and time-management skills to plan lessons and track student progress
    • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and requirements
    • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically
    • Understanding of curriculum standards and assessment methods
    • Relevant qualifications or certifications in education, teaching, or a closely related field
    • Experience with behavioral or additional learning support is a plus
