Bartender The Double Red Duke – Bicester
We are looking for a confident, charismatic and service-led Bartender to join the team at The Double Red Duke.
The Double Red Duke is a busy, characterful pub with rooms, known for its open-fire kitchen, exceptional produce and warm, generous hospitality. Our bar is central to the guest experience – from classic cocktails and carefully selected wines to perfectly poured pints and lively weekend evenings.
This is not just about mixing drinks. It’s about creating atmosphere.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering warm, polished and knowledgeable bar service
- Preparing cocktails, classic serves and seasonal specials
- Managing bar mise en place and stock rotation
- Supporting floor teams during peak service
- Building rapport with regulars and weekend guests
- Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and standards
What we’re looking for
- Previous bar experience in a quality-led environment
- Confidence under pressure
- Strong product knowledge (or genuine enthusiasm to learn)
- A natural host – smiley, warm and engaging
- Attention to detail and pride in presentation
- A team player with a positive attitude
Experience in premium pub, hotel or restaurant settings is desirable but personality and service instinct are just as important.
