A huge part of our success is due to the ongoing development of our wide range of products and we have an opportunity to join us at the heart of the business as New Product Development (NPD) Administrator at our flagship site in Corby – which has the broadest range of snack technologies in a single factory in the country!
About The Role
The New Product Development (NPD) team plays a pivotal role in the success of our business, whether that be through developing new products, improving flavours or creating more sustainable or eye-catching packaging.
As the NPD Administrator, you will support the wider NPD function covering product data, change management and NPD process documentation.
On a typical day, you will:
- Work closely with NPD Managers to create, input and maintain all product data within our ERP system
- Ensure all changes to product data are controlled, accurate and fully completed
- Working across a broad range of functions within the business including Operations, Technical & Commercial teams, to resolve queries regarding product data
- Be responsible for the administration of the Group Product Change process including, management of all project dossiers on SharePoint
- Prepare documentation pack, agendas and minutes for bi-weekly Gate Keeper meetings
- Completing sample submission and product quality documents
- Receiving and maintaining raw material documentation
- Maintain and manage nutrition monitoring and shelf-life programme
- Supporting the Artwork Coordinator and Development Technologist
What will we need from you?
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced, office-based environment
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and competent MS Word & SharePoint skills
- Highly organised with a methodical approach
- Effectively work and communicate as part of a multi disciplined team
- Ability to clearly present project data
- High attention to detail
- Experience of working within a Food Manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
This role will be full time, operating Monday – Friday 08:45 – 17:00. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest snack manufacturers and be a part of some of the most exciting projects to date!
