We are currently supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in Cambridge with the appointment of a Research Associate to join their Protein Science team.
This is a hands-on laboratory role supporting drug discovery projects through LCMS-based analytical chemistry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ASMS screening and compound binding confirmation
- Run and optimise LCMS methods
- Conduct HPLC-based physical chemistry assays
- Provide QC and chemical stability analytical support
- Troubleshoot and maintain LCMS systems (4-instrument platform)
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / related field
- extensive years of industrial laboratory experience
- Strong hands-on LCMS experience (maintenance & troubleshooting)
- Experience with Waters MassLynx desirable
- Excellent organisation and documentation skills (ELN experience preferred)
