    Job description

    About QMGS

Quality Medical Group Services is one of the UK's leading providers or medical services to the legal sector.

Working with over 90 law firms across the UK, QMGS provides screening assessments, pagination of medical records and expert reports for Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury claims.

Established in 2013, QMGS has grown organically and is now recognised for it's exceptional quality of work and level of service.

    The Role

Given our focus on providing exceptional customer service, this position will play a key part in delivering on this goal.

Our Expert Liaison team interacts directly with the solicitors we work with, sourcing and managing medical experts who provide reports that play a key role in determining the outcome of a case.

The work is fast-paced and complicated, meaning you'll be operating in a hugely rewarding environment that will allow you to learn a great detail about the legal space, and the important role that medical expertise plays in running a clinical negligence or personal injury case.

The position requires the following skills:

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You will regularly be speaking with solicitors and medical experts and be required to be clear & concise in your communication
    • Confidence dealing with complex queries. Following on from the above, you will need to be happy picking up the phone to speak with solicitors and medical experts to help progress cases and solve issues
    • Strong research skills. You will be required to find relevant medical experts for specific cases either by looking through our existing panel of experts or searching for new experts
    • Organisation & time-management. You will be juggling multiple different cases at any one time, and will need to be good at prioritising & ensuring that nothing gets missed
    • Pro-activity & speed of work. It's vital that we balance providing quality work with a rapid response time to our customers. Being someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment is key
    • A desire to learn. Cases can be complex and it's important that you immerse yourself in this world in order to understand how solicitors run cases, the legal obligations of medical experts and the latest developments in the industry

    About you

We are open-minded to the background you come from, providing you can demonstrate the above skills & competencies. Someone who is proactive, willing to learn and a good problem solver is crucial for us. We pride ourselves on going above & beyond for those we work with, and so are looking for examples of people who have experience delivering exceptional customer experiences within a services business (ideally B2B professional services)

    Other important info

QMGS is committed to the development & well-being of our staff and as such we are always looking at the benefits we can offer to ensure this. We have a health plan, training budgets each year per staff member, 28 days holiday (+ bank holidays), 110% profit share bonus scheme & are currently reviewing new benefit scheme options.

We are an equal opportunity employer and we celebrate diversity and inclusion in our workplace. Rather than looking for 'culture fit' we are looking for those who can add new perspectives and enhance our culture.
