    Job description

    Role:

    Newton Property Management are seeking a Credit Control Administrator for a 4 month Contract which will be reviewed monthly thereafter. This role will report to the Credit Control Manager and will be part of a small but efficient and effective team.


    Newton Property Management was founded in 2001 and has grown organically, and through acquisition, to become one of Scotland’s biggest and best Property Management companies Currently servicing over 36,000 properties in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness.


    The role will be based in our Glasgow Head Office on Port Dundas Road. The role will be full time Monday to Friday covering 35 hours per week.


    Main responsibilities & Duties:

    • Raising & requesting Notice of Potential Liabilities (NOPL’s) on Registers of Scotland (ROS)
    • Checking accounts to ascertain if an NOPL is required.
    • Recording NOPL’s and making sure these are kept up to date
    • Monitor, distribute & action simple emails within a shared mailbox.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, procedures and processes


    Specific skills, capabilities & requirements:

    • Experience in a fast-paced office environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Self-discipline and motivation
    • Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team
    • Strong IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Excel
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
