We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to play a key role in coordinating the inbound supply of raw materials in line with our production plan. You will help the team achieve the overarching goals of “don’t run out, don’t have too much, and do it cost-effectively.”
Core Responsibilities:
- Own a defined set of raw materials, working closely with production planning and suppliers to create robust inbound delivery schedules.
- Manage minimum order quantities, lead times, storage, and cost to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
- Analyse MRP information and reports on customer demand and production plans to make informed purchasing and production decisions.
- Manage purchase orders, raise production jobs, report on capacity, and contribute to supply chain projects.
Experience & Knowledge
- Inventory management and production planning experience, ideally in a seasonal business.
- Understanding of MRP / ERP systems and reporting tools (experience with D365 & Power BI is an advantage).
- Knowledge of wider supply chain processes, including demand planning, purchasing, and production planning.
- Understanding of NPD processes, artwork approvals, and packaging/bulk materials.
- Strong stock management and commercial awareness.
- Excellent Excel skills.
