You will provide expert technical advice and support for property maintenance and repairs, focusing on defect investigation, contract management, and ensuring high-quality delivery of works. Key Responsibilities
- Investigate complex maintenance issues, including disrepair, structural failure, and defects.
- Provide technical advice on design, construction, maintenance, and repair.
- Prepare reports, specifications, drawings, and contract documents for a range of works.
- Manage maintenance contracts, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records and high-quality data in property systems.
- Develop local knowledge of assets, customer needs, and investment priorities.
- Continually develop your skills and knowledge to stay up to date with best practice and legislation.
Requirements
- Experience in property maintenance, surveying, and defect analysis.
- Strong technical knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Experience managing contracts and delivering projects on time and budget.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management IT systems.
- Full UK driving licence; willing to travel as required.
- Role subject to basic DBS disclosure.
