Role Overview
Are you looking for a role where you can lead meaningful, large-scale change rather than just deliver projects?
We are seeking a Head of Delivery to join an expanding team!
You will lead complex transformation programmes, develop delivery standards and capability, and ensure the business is known for excellence in execution as well as insight.
This is a hands-on programme leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable with ambiguity, and enjoys turning strategy into reality. You will be working alongside senior stakeholders to scale delivery capability while maintaining a highly personal, outcomes-focused client experience.
As the ideal candidate you will have Gas or Energy related experience.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership & Client Impact
- Lead the delivery of large-scale operational transformation and change programmes across the client portfolio.
- Ensure programmes deliver measurable outcomes aligned to client strategy, performance, and change objectives.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders (C-suite, ExCo, and senior operational leaders).
Operational Transformation & Change
- Shape and lead transformation initiatives covering operating model design, process improvement, ways of working, governance, and change adoption, various digital transformations and more
- Ensure change is embedded through effective change management, capability uplift, and behavioural alignment.
- Balance pace, rigour, and pragmatism to deliver sustainable results, not just recommendations.
Delivery Excellence & Standards
- Define and continuously improve the organisations delivery frameworks, methodologies, and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency of delivery approach while allowing flexibility to tailor to client needs.
- Oversee risk management, financial performance, and delivery governance across engagements.
- Build delivery capability in operational transformation and change across consultants at all levels.
About You
Experience
- Significant experience leading operational transformation and change programmes, ideally within a consultancy or complex enterprise environment.
- Utilities or adjacent industry experience is highly beneficial
- Proven track record of delivering large, multi-workstream programmes with tangible business outcomes.
- Strong experience operating at senior stakeholder level, including C-suite engagement.
- Experience building and leading delivery teams and setting delivery standards.

- Strong commercial acumen, including managing budgets, margins, and delivery risk.
