The Opportunity
A great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established regional contractor delivering a diverse range of construction projects across Bristol and the South West.
This role offers the chance to take commercial ownership of projects, work within a supportive team and develop your career within a respected and financially stable contractor.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the commercial delivery of construction projects.
- Preparing and managing project budgets and forecasts.
- Procuring subcontractors and managing packages.
- Producing CVRs and commercial reports.
- Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Supporting contract administration and procurement.
- Working closely with operational and site teams.
- Ensuring projects are delivered profitably.
About You
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main or regional contractor.
- Background in general build projects preferred.
- Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge.
- Confident communicator and team player.
- Organised and detail focused.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.
