The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Service Designer to support the delivery of user-centred digital services within a multidisciplinary consultancy team, working with a high-profile UK public sector client.
You’ll play a key role shaping end-to-end services across discovery, alpha and beta, ensuring they meet user needs and GDS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead service design across discovery, alpha and beta phases
- Produce service artefacts (journey maps, blueprints, service models)
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Apply GDS standards and accessibility (WCAG AA) best practice
- Collaborate with Product, UR, Dev and Policy teams
- Support design leadership and mentor junior team members
Essential Experience
- Senior Service Designer experience within UK public sector
- Strong knowledge of GDS Service Standard and assessments
- Experience improving complex, multi-touchpoint services
- Confident facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to shape service strategy while delivering hands-on
