We are seeking an experienced Civils Foreman/works manager to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Aberdeen. This is a key supervisory role responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will play a hands-on leadership role, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, plant, and materials to deliver critical civil engineering works including earthworks, drainage, utilities, road construction, and concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities
- Lead and motivate site operatives and subcontractors
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks
- Monitor progress against programme and report to Site Manager/Project Manager
- Organise plant, labour, and materials efficiently
- Maintain accurate site records (RAMS, permits, inspections, etc.)
- Liaise with engineers, clients, and stakeholders as required
