I am currently supporting a client of mine who are looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This is a generalist role but with a significant emphasis on employee relations. Working as part of a high performing people team you will take responsibility for the following:
- Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, sickness absence, and capability
- Conducting investigations, preparing documentation, and guiding managers through ER processes, ensuring compliance with employment law, company policies and best practice
- Providing day to day support to Line Managers
- Coaching Managers on effective people management and having difficult conversations
- Supporting early conflict resolution through mediation and proactive interventions
- Monitoring and reporting on ER trends
- Reviewing and updating HR policies in line with legislative changes
- Supporting with absence management, occupational health referrals, and return-to-work plans
- Contributing to well being initiatives
- Assisting with HR audits, reporting, and improvement projects
- Representing HR at relevant meetings
The successful candidate will be a confident HR professional with strong ER experience and a proven track record in building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively are also essential skills for this role.
