Global Head of Division – Fluid Power / Energy Solutions
Location: Aberdeen (Mon–Fri office presence expected; some flexibility for the right candidate)
Salary: £120,000 – £130,000 + bonus & benefits

We are supporting a global engineering and offshore services organisation in the appointment of a
Global Head of Division – Fluid Power / Energy Solutions.
This is a senior leadership role with global responsibility for the Fluid Power product division, supplying high-pressure hose solutions, hydraulics, tubing and piping to offshore rigs, vessels and energy assets worldwide.
Role Overview
This is a senior, global leadership position with full accountability for the Fluid Power / Energy Solutions division, operating at head-of-business-line level within a large international energy services organisation.
This role holds end-to-end responsibility for the strategic direction, operational performance and commercial success of the division on a global basis.
The successful candidate will lead a sizeable, multi-disciplinary organisation covering sales, workshops, field/service operations and technical/engineering support, ensuring consistent delivery of safe, high-quality and commercially competitive fluid power solutions across international markets.
Key focus areas of the role include:
- Ownership of the global P&L for the division, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and cashflow management
- Setting and executing divisional strategy, aligned with wider Energy Solutions and group objectives
- Driving operational excellence across workshops and field operations, with a strong focus on safety, quality and performance
- Optimising go-to-market strategy, pricing models and customer engagement to support sustainable growth
- Leading and developing high-performing teams, with clear succession planning and talent development frameworks
- Acting as a senior escalation point for complex customer, commercial and operational matters
- Supporting investment decisions, including capital equipment planning and long-term capability development
- Playing a key role in the continued evolution and growth of the Energy Solutions portfolio following recent organisational change

What you'll bring:
Technical Background
Candidates must come from a fluid power-led environment, with demonstrable exposure to:
- High-pressure hoses
- Hydraulics
- Subsea Bolting Tools (SBT) or comparable high-pressure / controlled-force bolting systems
You will also have offshore exposure, ideally across rigs, vessels, drilling or well intervention environments.
Leadership & Commercial
- Proven experience leading large, multi-disciplinary teams
- Multi-site or multi-country leadership experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable operating at senior leadership level with full P&L responsibility
- Able to balance technical oversight with commercial decision-making
Location & Working Pattern
- Based in Aberdeen
- Expected office presence Monday to Friday
- Some flexibility / compressed week possible for the right candidate
