This role is suited to a first-class classroom practitioner with strong academic credentials and a proven track record of delivering excellence. The Role:
• Teach History across Key Stages 3–5, including examination classes
• Deliver academically rigorous, engaging lessons that stretch and challenge pupils
• Contribute to curriculum development within a high-performing department
• Play a meaningful role in the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A strong academic background (degree in History or related field; further study desirable)
• Experience teaching within the independent sector (highly desirable)
• A proven ability to secure excellent academic outcomes
• Outstanding pastoral skills, with the ability to support and guide pupils beyond the classroom
