Based in our purpose-built studio in Banbury, M.A.D.E plays a pivotal role in the Mahindra Global Design Network, shaping the future of electric vehicles and advanced automotive concepts.
Our studio is equipped with the latest design technologies, enabling full-spectrum design capabilities - from initial concept sketches to 3D digital and physical modelling, A-Class surfacing and immersive visualisation. We also house a complete CMF suite, clay modelling studio, and dedicated presentation spaces.
The Role: Interior Creative Specialist
As an automotive interior designer or creative specialist, you'll use your imaginative and detail-driven creativity to shape the future of our in-car experiences. You'll develop innovative interior concepts that blend aesthetics, functionality, and brand identity. You'll use your skills to ensure that we stay true to our design philosophy and vision, whilst contributing to the evolving legacy of Mahindra.
What You'll Do:
- Develop compelling interior design concepts from early ideation through to production-ready proposals
- Create sketches, visualisations and ideation work with precision and intent
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Studio Engineering, CMF, and the Exteriors team to solve design challenges
- Research emerging trends in automotive design and technology, with a particular focus on user experience
- Present concepts to stakeholders with clarity and confidence, using strong storytelling as your foundation
- Support the refinement of interior components, focusing on feasibility without compromising creativity
What You Bring:
- A degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design or related field
- Proven experience in automotive interior design or similar creative discipline
- Strong sketching, visualisation, and storytelling skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, VRED or similar
- A passion for innovation, craftsmanship and user-centric design
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
