Location: 1 Barracks Close, Lufton, BA22 8RN
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (with overtime available)
Pay: £15.00–£20.00 per hour, depending on experience
We are seeking a reliable Scaffold Yard Operative / HGV Driver to join our busy scaffolding company. This hands-on role combines general yard duties with transporting scaffold materials to and from various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
· Loading and unloading scaffold materials in the yard
· Delivering and collecting materials safely and efficiently across multiple sites
· Assisting with yard organisation and stock control
· Completing daily vehicle checks and carrying out basic maintenance
· Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with regulations
· Working closely with scaffold teams and site managers
Requirements:
· Valid HGV licence (Class 1 or Class 2)
· CPC and digital tachograph card
· Previous experience in scaffolding or construction preferred
· Strong understanding of safe loading and unloading practices
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
