Job Description
Reporting to the GM, this is a phenomenal opportunity to take total strategic ownership of the technical and R&D functions for this rapidly growing specialist food business.
With a growing International presence and a heavy focus on innovation, quality, safety and compliance are paramount. This pivotal role oversees all direct manufacturing activities with a permanent base at a state of the art production site in Northern Ireland.
Working cross functionally with R&D, Procurement, Planning, Commercial, and Marketing as well as externally with retail customers, as the successful candidate, you’ll drive the delivery of a comprehensive quality and safety program.
From day one, your extensive technical leadership background will be critical – from TACCP/VACCP risk assessments and allergen safety through to legal compliance and R&D stewardship, you’ll act as the strategic “technical” right hand!
With both direct and indirect team leadership responsibility, it’s a given that people influence and development along with upward communication will be front and centre of your tool kit.
