The Role

We are looking for a Mid-Weight Interior Designer who is ready to take more ownership. You’ll be bridging the gap between bold conceptual thinking and the technical reality of construction. If you love the fast paced nature of Design & Build and want to see your visions go from a SketchUp model to a finished site in record time, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Translating Briefs: Partnering with clients and sales leads to evolve initial concepts into high-impact design solutions.
- Creative Execution: Leading concept development, from stunning mood boards to intelligent spatial layouts.
- Visual Storytelling: Creating high end 3D models and renders (SketchUp & Enscape).
- Technical Precision: Preparing detailed drawing packages, finishes schedules and ensuring everything is "build ready."
- Trend Hunting: Contributing to weekly design reviews and keeping Ovo at the cutting edge of workplace tech and aesthetics.
Skills and Experience Required
- You have a degree in Interior Design or Architecture and at least 4+ years of industry experience (ideally within commercial/workplace sectors) with proficiency in SketchUp, Layout, Enscape, Photoshop, AutoCad and Adobe Creative Suite.
- You understand UK building regs and have a keen eye for materials and specifications.
- You don’t just follow trends; you have a distinct design eye and the flair to create spaces that tell a story.
- You understand that a design is only as good as its execution. Your attention to detail is second to none.
- D&B moves fast. You possess the time management skills to juggle multiple project stages.
- You have a "get stuck in" attitude. Whether it's a quick site survey or a deep dive into building regs, you take pride in your work and own your outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English both written and spoken. You can present a concept with confidence, whether you're talking to a Contractor onsite or a CEO in a boardroom.
- Full UK Driving License
