Are you a driven graduate looking to kick-start a long-term career in sales with a well-established, market-leading business? Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Commercial Trainee to join their Aberdeen-based team and develop into a high-performing sales professional.

This is a structured, hands-on role designed to give you a deep understanding of how a commercial business operates, while building the sales skills needed for long-term progression.
The Opportunity
From day one, you'll be placed on a comprehensive training programme that gives you exposure to all areas of the business. You'll initially spend time learning operations and logistics to understand the full customer journey, before moving into a sales-focused position where you'll manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
With access to thousands of products across construction, engineering and housebuilder markets, this role offers genuine scope to generate revenue, build relationships and develop commercial confidence. Many individuals who started in this role have progressed into senior sales and management positions across the wider group.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing new business opportunities
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts
- Handling inbound enquiries and identifying upsell opportunities
- Gaining exposure to operations and commercial processes
- Working closely with an experienced sales team in a supportive environment
- Progressing towards an external sales role following training and probation
