Head of Development (Delivery)
Bedfordshire - Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Development Delivery to lead the successful delivery of a new build development programme and aftercare service. This is a senior leadership role with real influence, responsible for ensuring developments are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within approved budgets.
Knowledge and Experience
- Proven track record of leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, including performance management, development, and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Extensive experience in successfully delivering new-build residential development programmes, managing projects from inception through to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of the key development disciplines, including planning, legal, construction, and procurement processes for mixed-tenure residential schemes.
- Detailed working knowledge of Homes England funding requirements, systems, and processes, including full audit and compliance responsibilities.
- Experience in financial appraisal and viability assessment, with practical knowledge of development appraisal software (ProVal experience desirable).
