We are now looking for Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our Commercial function and support the successful delivery cost management and quality across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of quantity surveying from project inception through to completion on high-rise and large-scale developments.
- Produce monthly interim valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project budgets, forecasts, and commercial reports.
- Ensure strong collaboration between commercial teams and site delivery teams to achieve project objectives.
- Procure and manage subcontract packages, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Monitor project progress, assess cost performance, and proactively manage risk and opportunity.
- Manage variations, change control, claims, and final accounts in line with contractual requirements.
- Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior commercial team members, providing technical guidance and development.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company commercial procedures.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment, ideally on high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, procurement, and commercial reporting.
- Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple work packages and deadlines in a fast-paced site environment.
- Proficient in relevant commercial and reporting systems.
