Principal Planning Lawyer
Kirklees Council is seeking an experienced Principal Planning Lawyer to provide expert advice on planning, highways and environmental law. The Planning and Highways team advises on diverse planning, highways, rights of way and environmental matters, directly supporting our ambition for a green, sustainable and prosperous Kirklees.
As Principal Planning Lawyer, you will be a senior member of the team providing advice to officers and elected members. Examples of matters you will deal with include S106 and S278 agreements, complex and routine planning and highways advice, public enquiries, advice on planning enforcement and public law.

What you will bring
- Qualified Solicitor Barrister or a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives
- Experience at a senior level of planning law and practice and experience

- £51,356 - £56,494 per annum + £3,000 Market Rate Supplement
