Aircraft Refuelling Technician – Full Time (Shift-based)
Bournemouth International Airport is recruiting Aircraft Refuelling Technicians to join our professional Airfield Operations team.
This is a hands-on, safety-critical role at the heart of airport operations. You’ll be responsible for aircraft into-plane refuelling and fuel storage activities, ensuring every task is carried out safely, compliantly and to the highest operational standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver safe and compliant aircraft refuelling operations
- Support fuel storage and stock control activities
- Maintain accurate fuel movement and sales records
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental and regulatory standards
- Act as a professional first point of contact for airline customers
- Follow emergency procedures where required
- Participate in training to maintain technical competence
You’ll work across both Aircraft Refuelling and Fuel Storage operations.
This role operates on a varied shift pattern including early starts, late finishes, weekends and occasional overtime. Flexibility is essential to support operational coverage.
What We’re Looking For
- HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Strong customer service skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Accurate numerical and data entry skills
- A strong safety mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to shift working
