I’m working with a top-tier international law firm on a senior Of Counsel hire into its market-leading Real Estate Finance team, based in Bristol.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced real estate finance lawyer (c.10+ PQE) to step into a high-autonomy, leadership-focused role, combining top-quality transactional work with team management, client leadership and strategic input.
The role
The position sits within a fully integrated global Banking & Finance practice, acting for banks, funds, asset managers and institutional clients on complex, high-value real estate finance transactions.
You will:
- Lead on significant real estate finance matters, acting as a trusted adviser to key clients
- Take responsibility for managing identified key client relationships from day one
- Play a central role in supervising and mentoring associates and paralegals
- Support a senior Banking Partner in the development and management of the Bristol practice
- Drive an ongoing efficiency and innovation project focused on repeat transactions, process improvement and use of technology
- Contribute to wider UK practice strategy and growth
This is a genuinely senior role with real influence over how the practice operates and develops.
