    Business Development Manager – Industry Software (UK)

    We are a growing, technically strong team with ambitions to win larger, more complex projects across the UK and internationally.

    The Role

    We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow our UK business. This is a senior, commercially focused role suited to someone who understands industrial software, engineering-led sales, and long-term customer relationships.

    You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing key accounts, and working closely with our technical team to shape compelling solutions for customers.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across UK manufacturing and engineering sectors
    • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline for software, services, and digital transformation projects
    • Engage with senior stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Digital, IT, and Leadership teams)
    • Work closely with Kaizen PLM’s technical consultants to shape solutions and proposals
    • Lead sales conversations from initial discovery through to close
    • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key customers
    • Represent Kaizen PLM at industry events, customer meetings, and partner engagements
    • Collaborate with Siemens and other technology partners where relevant
    • Provide feedback to leadership on market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities
    Required Experience & Skills
    • Proven experience in B2B business development or technical sales, ideally within:
    • Industrial software
    • PLM / CAD / CAM / Simulation
    • Manufacturing automation or digital transformation
    • Strong understanding of engineering-led sales cycles
    • Comfortable selling high-value, consultative solutions, not just licenses
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work autonomously
    • Experience working with manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, medical devices, energy, or similar sectors is highly desirable
    Nice to Have
    • Experience with Siemens software (NX, Teamcenter, Tecnomatix, Opcenter, etc.)
    • Background in engineering or manufacturing
    • Experience selling services, consulting, or project-based work
