    Job description

    Administrator

    📍 Oakington, Cambridgeshire | Hybrid

    💷 £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

Looking for an admin role where you’re genuinely valued, trusted, and part of a great team?

    This could be the one.

We’re a well-established, people-focused property and construction consultancy with nearly a century of experience delivering inspirational, practical design solutions across the UK. Our work spans sectors including commercial, education, defence, and residential, and everything we do is driven by a simple goal: improving the communities where people live and work.

We’re now looking for an Administrator to join our Cambridge office, supporting multiple professional teams and playing a key role in keeping the office running smoothly.

    The role

As an Administrator, you’ll provide high-quality, professional support to three teams, while also assisting the wider admin function when needed. You’ll be trusted with a broad and varied workload, from diary management and meeting coordination through to invoicing, reporting, bids, and marketing support.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in being organised, proactive, and reliable — and who enjoys being the backbone of a successful office.

    Key responsibilities

    • Diary and calendar management for Directors and Team Leads
    • Meeting coordination, agendas, minute-taking, and action tracking
    • Reception cover and office coordination
    • Travel and accommodation arrangements
    • Project setup, archiving, and document management
    • Purchase orders, invoicing, and financial reporting
    • CRM updates and fee quote support
    • Bid and tender documentation assistance
    • Marketing support (CVs, project profiles)
    • Timesheet input and contractor support

    What we’re looking for

    • Previous administration experience
    • GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in Maths and English
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
    • Strong Excel knowledge, including formulas
    • Intermediate audio typing and dictation experience
    • A positive, can-do attitude and pride in doing things properly

    What you can expect

Alongside a welcoming, team-oriented environment, you’ll benefit from:

    • Salary of ÂŁ28,000 – ÂŁ30,000, reviewed and benchmarked regularly
    • Flexible and remote working options
    • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, festive shutdown & long-service recognition
    • Company pension scheme
    • Health cash plan & wellbeing support
    • In-house coaching, mentoring & professional membership support
    • Family-friendly policies
    • Team-building events & fully expensed social events
    • Cycle to Work scheme & on-site parking (outside London)
    • Season ticket loan (where applicable)
    • Death in service benefit
    • Early finish incentives when targets are hit
    • Paid volunteering leave (up to 2 days)
    • Employee referral scheme & working groups

đź’¬ Not a perfect match on paper?

That’s okay. We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we’d still love to hear from you if this role excites you.
