Job Title: Head of Commercial Property
Location: Bridgwater or Yeovil (hybrid options available)
Salary: £65,000 – £85,000 DOE

Role Summary:
This is a pivotal leadership appointment for a highly experienced Commercial Property Solicitor. You'll inherit and lead an established team with fee earner and assistant support, and have the opportunity to expand your influence into land and agricultural property, a growing strategic priority for the business. The role offers genuine scope for Directorship and sits within the firm’s Head of Department bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Commercial Property team: Shape strategic direction and nurture a high-performing culture
• Manage a broad caseload: Act as lead on high-value and complex commercial property transactions
• Oversee team development: Support junior lawyers and legal assistants through coaching and supervision
• Develop the agri-land offering: Build on growing client demand and establish sector leadership
• Contribute to the wider business: Play a key role in leadership forums and cross-team collaboration
Requirements:
• Experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with team leadership exposure
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial real estate transactions
• Experience in land/agricultural property desirable but not essential
• Ability to manage, inspire, and develop legal talent
