Role Description
This is an on-site full-time role for an Early Years Educator covering maternity leave at Oak Lee Montessori School, located in Pinner. The position involves planning and facilitating engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons based, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting children's educational, social, and emotional growth. The Educator will also engage in daily communication with parents, ensure children’s safety and wellbeing, and collaborate with other staff members to maintain high standards of care and education.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching, with the ability to deliver engaging and age-appropriate content
- Educational background and experience in Early Childhood Education, with Montessori experience will be useful but not necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
- A relevant qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Passion for child development and a patient, caring approach
- Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
- First Aid certification is an advantage
