    Job description

We are recruiting a Chief Officer – Care & Repair Cardiff and the Vale

This is one of those leadership roles that genuinely matters.

I’m delighted to be supporting Care & Repair Cardiff and the Vale in the appointment of a new Chief Officer; a rare opportunity to lead a respected, mission-led organisation improving the lives of older and vulnerable people across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

Every day, Care & Repair Cardiff and the Vale enables people to remain safe, warm and independent in their own homes. Behind every adaptation and casework intervention is a person whose quality of life is improved.

We are seeking an experienced, values-driven senior leader to:

    • Provide strategic direction and organisational leadership

    • Ensure long-term financial sustainability and resilience

    • Lead governance, compliance and risk management at Board level

    • Strengthen funding and partnership development

    • Represent the organisation regionally and nationally

This is a significant accountable officer role, requiring strong governance capability, financial oversight and the ability to lead with clarity and credibility.

It would suit an experienced Chief Executive, Deputy CEO, Managing Director or senior leader from the charity, public, housing or other regulated sectors who is motivated by purpose and social impact.

This role offers an experienced leader the opportunity to bring their professional expertise, commercial discipline and governance strength to a mission-driven organisation where impact, integrity and community outcomes sit at the heart of every decision.

    Cardiff & Vale of Glamorgan

    Full-time (35 hours)

    £59,732 per annum

    Permanent

If this feels aligned, or you know someone who would be a strong fit, we would welcome a conversation.
