An established engineering organisation is seeking a hands‑on Build Supervisor to lead the assembly and wiring of complex special‑purpose machinery involving mechanical, electrical, and laser technologies.
Location: Oxford
Full-time | Permanent
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise daily build operations to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Wire and mechanically assemble bespoke machinery using schematics and 3D CAD models.
- Install pneumatic/electrical routing and conduct electrical testing.
- Coordinate materials, resources, and build documentation.
- Mentor and support build technicians while driving continuous improvement.
- Work cross‑functionally to resolve build‑related challenges.
- Occasional international travel for machine installation and support.
What You’ll Bring
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong leadership skills, with supervisory experience desirable.
- Significant experience in panel wiring and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical technical drawings.
- Excellent organisation, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
