    What you will do:

    - Recruit, train, assess, supervise, and support Foster Carers in their essential role of caring for children and young people.

    - Provide a supportive and efficient service to children, young people, their families, and fostering families, ensuring comprehensive needs assessments.

    - Investigate, evaluate, and analyse case information to ensure accuracy, reliability, and the creation of realistic action plans.

    - Develop practice by adopting a holistic view of individuals, considering their wider social circles and development needs.

    - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, fostering regulations, national minimum standards, and council policies and procedures.

    - Complete enquiries, investigations, and assessments to a high professional standard within agreed timescales.

    - Utilise ICT to maintain accurate and adequate case recording as per service procedures.

    - Ensure all case management adheres to statutory requirements and council policies.


    Requirements:

    - Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent.

    - GSCC Registration and SWE Registered.

    - Thorough knowledge of child protection and issues affecting children in care.

    - Experience with foster carers and multi-disciplinary working.

    - Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with individuals, teams, clients, and staff.

    - Adaptable and resilient under pressure while effectively planning and organising tasks.
