About the Role
My client are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join a child-centred, multidisciplinary team. You will assess and support children with a range of speech, language, communication, and feeding needs, delivering evidence-based, engaging therapy that helps every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans
- Deliver high-quality therapy in individual and group settings
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Collaborate closely with families, schools, and the multidisciplinary team
- Support and educate parents and caregivers
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc/MSc or equivalent)
- Current professional registration (e.g., HCPC, ASHA, or equivalent)
- Experience working with children with communication disorders
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and therapy planning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate, organised, and child-focused approach
Desirable
- Experience with ASD, stuttering, or dysphagia
- Knowledge of AAC systems
- Experience supporting bilingual or multilingual children
