We are seeking high-calibre surveyors to join us in permanent, salaried roles, offering long-term stability, an attractive bonus scheme, and the opportunity to grow with the business. All applications will be treated in strict confidence.

    About Us

House Smart Surveying is an independent and fast-growing company providing professional residential surveying services nationwide. Our workload continues to increase through strong client demand and trusted referral relationships, allowing us to develop new surveyor patches and invest in our people. We pride ourselves on delivering clear, practical advice while fostering a supportive and modern working environment.

    The Role

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Undertaking RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys
    • Completing residential valuations where appropriately qualified
    • Inspecting residential properties and assessing condition, defects, and risks
    • Producing clear, accurate, and professional reports
    • Working closely with clients and other property professionals

    What We’re Looking For

    • AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS qualified surveyors
    • VRS registration preferred (not essential for all roles)
    • Strong recent experience in Building Pathology
    • Residential valuation experience advantageous
    • Sound knowledge of building construction, regulations, and safety standards
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
    • Confident use of surveying tools and reporting software
    • Full UK driving licence

    What We Offer

    • Permanent salaried employment
    • Bonus scheme
    • Flexible working arrangements
    • Expanding surveyor patches as the business grows
    • Supportive, professional working culture
    • Long-term career progression within a growing company
