    Location: Liverpool Street, London

    Contract: Prestigious Financial Services Environment –

    • Monday to Friday

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Engineering Supervisor to lead a small high-performing engineering support team within a flagship financial services contract near Liverpool Street. This is a highly client-facing role that blends strong technical capability with exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

    You will act as a key liaison between senior technical leaders, facilities management teams, and client stakeholders—ensuring smooth service delivery, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the site.

    Ideally This role will ideally suit a good Shift Engineer or Electrical Shift Leader who wants to get off nights, someone who is looking for the next step in their career within HVAC building services, professional and smart and knows how to read the room – Ambitious and presentable and great with People.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary interface for technical leaders, facilities managers, and client representatives, accurately forecasting workload, priorities, and deliverables.
    • Plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the daily activities and output of the engineering support team.
    • Resolve conflicting priorities in partnership with business leaders, ensuring seamless service delivery.
    • Lead and supervise day-to-day team operations, driving performance, accountability, and client satisfaction.
    • Apply expert knowledge to identify, develop, and implement improvements to processes, methods, and standards.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring, helping team members expand their technical and functional expertise.
    • Model company values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence in every interaction.
    • Influence senior-level decision-making by presenting clear, well-supported viewpoints on technical and operational matters.
    • Contribute to the development of new processes, operational plans, and service innovations to meet contract and business goals.

    Ideal match

    • 5–8 years of relevant technical/engineering experience.
    • (Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.)
    • Previous supervisory or shift-leader experience in a technical or engineering environment.
    • A continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to create and implement innovative solutions.
    • Proven ability to analyse and solve complex operational and engineering challenges.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Exceptional organisational skills, accuracy, and an inquisitive, detail-driven approach.
    • Strong numerical competence and the ability to carry out financial calculations such as percentages and fractions.
    • Confident communicator capable of explaining detailed technical concepts clearly to senior stakeholders and clients.
